Password Protecting Folders
To view the number of visitors to your web site, and other statistical data, perform the following:
- Visit the Administrative Control Panel Address. (Page 2) Then login using the proper username and password.
- Click the blue link “Protect Dirs”
- Click “add new”
- The next page will display a listing of directories that you can password protect. You may click a directory to view sub directories or you can click the radio button next to a folder to select that folder for protection. Then click “Protect Selected Directory”.
- Check the box “Activate/remove Directory Protection”, this is like an on off switch.
- Click Update.
- Now, add a username and password to the protected folder. Then click Add/Modify User.
- You may revisit this page to delete users or turn off directory protection.
