Viewing your Site Statistics

To view the number of visitors to your web site, and other statistical data, perform the following:

  1. Visit the Administrative Control Panel Address. (Page 2) Then login using the proper username and password.
  2. Click the blue link “Stats”
  3. Type in the Administrative Username & Password again.
  4. The next page will display your statistics.

Password Protecting Folders

To view the number of visitors to your web site, and other statistical data, perform the following:

  1. Visit the Administrative Control Panel Address. (Page 2) Then login using the proper username and password.
  2. Click the blue link “Protect Dirs”
  3. Click “add new”
  4. The next page will display a listing of directories that you can password protect. You may click a directory to view sub directories or you can click the radio button next to a folder to select that folder for protection. Then click “Protect Selected Directory”.
  5. Check the box “Activate/remove Directory Protection”, this is like an on off switch.
  6. Click Update.
  7. Now, add a username and password to the protected folder. Then click Add/Modify User.
  8. You may revisit this page to delete users or turn off directory protection.

Email Newsletter Guide

If you have an Email Newsletter installed on your server, follow these steps to get started. First, Login to the control panel by visiting: www.domain-name.com/listmessenger

Please use the username and password supplied to you by your Account Specialist.

Subscribers will automatically add or delete themselves from the mailing list through the web site.

To send out and Email to the subscribers:

  1. Login, then click on “Compose Message” at the top.
  2. Type in the “From” and “Reply-to:” boxes, if different.
  3. Type the name of an internal title message. (All items in red are required)
  4. Type in the subject of your email.
  5. Please type a text version of your email in the “Text Version” box.
  6. Then type an HTML version of your email

Features inside of the HTML Version:

Link – Type the text you wish to make a link. Highlight this text, and then click the chain link icon. Select http:// from the dropdown next to source. In the next box, type the web site address you wish to link to, then click insert. Then click ok.

Adding a picture – Click the picture icon next to the chain link. A new window will appear. Then click the folder icon in the upper right hand corner. This will allow you to upload an image to use in the email. Then click the browse button at the bottom. Select the file you wish to use. Then click the Upload button. Click the file in the upper right hand corner when it appears, then click ok. On the next screen click insert. You have now inserted a photo to the web site.

  1. Complete the email with everything that you wish it to say. Then click “Proceed”
  2. The next page will show a preview of the email you are about to send out in Text format and HTML format.
  3. If everything looks correct, click proceed. If not click back and make your changes.
  4. If you wish to send a test email, type in your email address where it says: Send to Address. Then click send message.
  5. When you are ready to send this email message to everyone, select the email group. Example: email group
  6. Then click “Send Message”. Your email will be sent to everyone.
